Followers

Every day is a new experience.  I just figured out (with a little help from my friends) how to "follow" others...this just gets better and better with each passing day.  I am really enjoying this process.  Thank you Dr. Neill for making this our assignment!

Wiki page

The Wiki project continues to be a learning experience for my partner and myself.  We are collaborating on the wiki page as well as the teaching project.  We will be presenting a case study regarding the shift to shift reporting between nurses. 
We also developed an avatar for our Wiki page.  It was a unique experience and a lot of fun to do.  I think it added a light, fun aspect to the Wiki page.

This process is truly a unique learning experience and I must admit it has been quite fun.  I was intimidated at first, but I have quite enjoyed the process.

EMR

The Hospital where I am employed is currently in the process of converting to an electronic medical record.  It will indeed be interesting to see how the hand off tools will evolve after the implementation of the project goes live on July 1.

Creating a wiki

My partner, Suzanne Gillson and I have been working on our Wiki together.  Our page is shift to shift hand-off tools and bedside reporting between nurses.  This is our first attempt at making a wiki and it has been quite challenging, but also fun.  We have learned how to edit the page, insert links to articles and even added a Voki.
