Creating a wiki

My partner, Suzanne Gillson and I have been working on our Wiki together.  Our page is shift to shift hand-off tools and bedside reporting between nurses.  This is our first attempt at making a wiki and it has been quite challenging, but also fun.  We have learned how to edit the page, insert links to articles and even added a Voki.

    Looking forward to following your blog! I am interested in the hand-offs and how EMRs effect this report. We recently have moved to EMRs and the hand-offs were rewritten as a result.

    The whole process of transferring information from nurse to nurse and from shift to shift is an ongoing process of improvment in my facility and nationwide. The fact that Joint Commission has it as a National Patient Safety goal is evidence enough that it is a major issue in patient safety.
